A one-teacher day and a nine-teacher Saturday are not the same page. The calendar’s Display control lets you shape how the timetable reads without changing a single lesson — and your choices are yours, saved per person and per device, so nobody else’s view moves when you tidy up your own.
Teacher lanes on the day view
On a day where more than one teacher is teaching, the day view splits into one lane per teacher — a column each, side by side, so you read the studio at a glance rather than untangling a stack of overlapping blocks.
Lanes are also how you move work between people: drag a lesson across into another teacher’s lane and it moves to that teacher. A diagonal drag changes the time and the teacher in one movement, and the arrow keys do the same thing from the keyboard. Reassigning clears any substitute cover on that lesson and tells both teachers — see reschedule or cancel a lesson.
Where a slot holds more lessons than the space will show, a “+N” chip tells you how many more are hiding there, so a busy hour never looks quieter than it is.
What the Display control changes
Open Display on the Calendar and you can set:

| Density | Comfortable rows for reading, or compact rows to fit more of the day on screen. |
| Weekends | Show or hide Saturday and Sunday, so a weekday-only studio isn’t looking at two empty columns. |
| Lanes | Merge the teacher lanes back into a single column when you’d rather see the day as one timeline. |
| Empty lanes | Hide the lanes of teachers who aren’t teaching that day. |
Your settings stick to you, on this device, for this studio — so the phone in your pocket can be compact and lane-free while the desktop in the office shows every lane in full.
Phones get a different set of views
The views themselves change with the width of the screen. On a desktop the set is Today · Week · Month; on a phone it’s Today · 3 days · Agenda · Month, and LessonLoop swaps between them as the window crosses. Agenda — a plain list of what’s on — is usually the quickest read on a small screen, and 3 days is the phone’s answer to the week view.
Nothing here changes a lesson Display settings are a lens. Colour, density, weekends and lanes change what you see, never what is booked — so it is safe to experiment mid-term.
