Pay an invoice

Updated 28 June 2026 · 2 min read

When your studio sends you an invoice, you can pay it by card straight from the parent portal — no account details to type out. It takes a couple of taps.

Pay by card

  1. From Home, tap the invoices to pay card, or go straight to Invoices.
  2. Open the invoice and tap Pay.
  3. The payment sheet opens. Enter your card, or — on an iPhone — confirm with the Apple Pay sheet.

That’s it. The invoice is marked as paid automatically, and you’ll see it move to paid in your list. The money goes straight to your studio.

Good to know On the web, the payment sheet is built into the portal — there's no separate website to sign in to and nothing to download. In the LessonLoop iPhone app, you'll tap Continue in browser to finish paying securely, then come straight back to the app afterwards.

Paying in instalments

Some studios offer a payment plan, so you can spread a larger invoice across several smaller payments instead of paying it all at once. When your studio allows plans, you’ll see an Or pay in instalments option on the invoice — choose how many instalments and tap Set up plan to arrange it yourself.

Each instalment then shows in your payment plan with its own Pay button, and you pay each one manually as it falls due — there’s nothing charged automatically.

If you’d like to pay in instalments but don’t see the option, it’s down to your studio to enable — just message them from the portal and ask.

If something doesn’t look right

If an invoice seems wrong, or a payment doesn’t go through, your studio is the best people to help — they can see the invoice and your payment history. Send them a message from the Messages area of the portal and they’ll sort it out.
