LessonLoop is management software for UK music schools, academies and independent teachers. It keeps your timetable, your students, your registers, your invoices and your payments in one place — so the admin runs quietly in the background and you can get on with teaching.
What LessonLoop does
Think of LessonLoop as the spine of your studio. Whether you teach one student a week or run a school of thousands of lessons, the same loop carries the work:
Calendar → Lesson → Attendance → Invoice → Payment.
- Calendar — book lessons, set up recurring slots, and drag to reschedule.
- Lesson — each booking holds the student, teacher, room and rate.
- Attendance — mark who came in the register; absences flow into make-up credits.
- Invoice — a billing run turns delivered lessons into invoices for families.
- Payment — parents pay by card, or you record cash and bank transfers by hand.
Everything else — make-ups, messages, reports, your booking website, enquiries — hangs off that spine and feeds back into it.
You don't have to set it all up at once. Get the calendar and your students in first, take a few registers, then turn on card payments and billing when you're ready. The loop works one step at a time.
Who uses LessonLoop
Different people see different things, matched to what they need to do:

These four roles all live in the staff app (dark, with a left sidebar). Parents get their own separate space — the parent portal (in teal) — where they see their child’s schedule, pay invoices and message you. They never see your admin, and you never have to manage two sets of tools.
