What is LoopAssist?

LoopAssist is the AI assistant built right into LessonLoop. It knows your studio — your students, lessons, invoices and settings — so you can ask a question in plain English and get a real answer, instead of hunting through menus. It can also draft actions for you, ready for you to check and confirm.

Where to find it

Open LoopAssist with the sparkle button in the top bar (top-right of every staff screen). It’s available on every staff screen, so it’s never more than one click away.

What it can do

  • Answer questions about your studio — “Who hasn’t paid this month?”, “When’s my next lesson with Maya?”, “How many make-ups are owed?” — in plain language.
  • Explain how LessonLoop works — ask where something lives or how a feature works, and it’ll point you to the right place.
  • Draft an action for you — such as a message to a family or a billing run. LoopAssist prepares it; nothing happens until you review and confirm it.

You're always in control LoopAssist never sends a message, raises an invoice or changes anything on its own. When it drafts an action you'll see exactly what it proposes, and it only goes ahead once you confirm.

Asking a good question

You don’t need special wording — type as you’d speak to a colleague. The more specific you are (“show overdue invoices for the Smith family”), the sharper the answer. For more on what to ask and how, see Ask LoopAssist anything.

A note on your data

LoopAssist only works with the studio you’re signed in to, and it respects your role — it can only see what you can see. A teacher asking LoopAssist sees their own lessons and students, just as they would everywhere else in LessonLoop.
