Connect your own domain

Your public booking page can live on your own web address. Point a domain (or subdomain) you own at LessonLoop and families see a small branded site — built automatically from your studio details and booking page — at somewhere like book.yourstudio.co.uk instead of a LessonLoop link.

No domain? No problem — your hosted booking link and embeddable widget work exactly the same without one. This is purely a polish step.

Connect it

1. Go to Growth → Website and find the Your own web address panel.
2. Enter the domain you want to use — a subdomain like book.yourstudio.co.uk is the usual choice — and choose Add.
3. LessonLoop shows you the DNS records to add (typically a CNAME pointing your subdomain at LessonLoop).
4. Add them at your domain registrar (the company you bought the domain from), copying each value exactly.
5. Click Verify. DNS can take a little while to propagate — if it doesn’t go green immediately, check again shortly.

When the badge shows Live, your branded site is being served on your domain, secure certificate included — nothing else to configure.

Good to know

• What’s on the site: your studio branding, details and booking/enquiry page — the same content as your hosted LessonLoop page, on your address.
• Changed your mind? Remove the domain any time; your studio simply reverts to its LessonLoop booking link. Nothing breaks.
• Once it’s live: the panel reads “Live · renewing certificate” and shows the DNS records underneath, so you can check them at a glance without going back to your registrar. The certificate renews on its own; if one ever expires, the panel says so plainly rather than leaving you with a browser warning and no explanation.
• Stuck on “pending”? The usual cause is a record typo or slow DNS propagation. Re-check the values against what LessonLoop shows. Verification also re-polls every six hours on its own, so a record that lands overnight is picked up without you touching anything.
• Your main website can stay wherever it is — most studios connect a subdomain (book. or lessons.) and keep their existing site untouched.
