Good teaching earns kind words; the hard part is asking for them. LessonLoop asks for you, gently, once a family has enough lessons behind them to have an opinion worth having.

Growth → Reviews (owners and admins). Teachers see their own approved reviews under Your reviews.
How a review is asked for
You don’t chase anyone. Once a family has around eight completed lessons with a teacher and hasn’t already reviewed them, a quiet prompt appears on their portal home asking how lessons are going. They give a star rating, optionally add a comment, and choose whether you may feature it publicly.
You decide what’s shown
Every review lands as Pending. From the Reviews page you can:
- Approve — it becomes visible to that teacher
- Hide — it doesn’t
- Restore — bring a hidden one back
The page states the deal plainly: Families can share feedback on their teacher. You decide what to feature — nothing is shown publicly without your approval.
A review can only ever be public if both things are true: the family ticked the consent box, and you approved it.
Reading them
Reviews group By teacher, with an average rating and how many are featured. Some arrive as just a rating with no comment — the page says so rather than showing an empty quote.
Nothing to see yet? That's normal early on: After a term, families are gently invited from their portal to review their teacher. The invitation waits until there's a real relationship to comment on.
