Your organisation details and branding

Updated 27 June 2026 · 2 min read

Your organisation settings are the details that describe your school — its name, where it is, and how money is shown — plus the branding parents see on every invoice and across the parent portal. It’s worth getting these right early, because they flow through to so much else.

Where it lives

Everything here sits under Settings → Organisation.

SettingWhat it controls
Org name & addressYour school’s name and contact address, shown on invoices and to families.
Time zoneThe zone your timetable, reminders and reports run in.
CurrencyThe currency for all invoices and payments.
VATYour VAT registration details, if you’re VAT-registered.
BrandingYour logo and accent colour — shown on invoices and the parent portal.

Update your details

  1. Open Settings (the gear in the left sidebar), then choose Organisation.
  2. Edit your org name, address, time zone and currency as needed.
  3. If you’re VAT-registered, add your VAT details so they appear correctly on invoices.
  4. Save. Changes apply across the app straight away.

Add your logo and accent colour

Your branding makes invoices and the parent portal feel like your school rather than a generic tool.

  1. In Settings → Organisation, find Branding.
  2. Upload your logo (a clear, square-ish image works best).
  3. Pick your accent colour — this tints buttons and headings parents see.
  4. Save, then send yourself a test invoice or open the portal to check how it looks.

Good to know Currency and time zone underpin every invoice, reminder and report, so set them before you start billing. There's a separate personal time zone under Settings → Profile that only affects how times look to you.

Terms, closures and policies live here too

The Organisation section is also home to the rules that shape your timetable and billing:

  • Academic terms and closure dates — see Academic terms and closure dates.
  • Your default reschedule and cancellation policy, make-up credit policy, and booking & cancellation (self-serve) settings.
  • Scheduling defaults for new lessons.

Setting these once means new lessons, make-ups and parent bookings all follow the same rules without you having to decide each time.
