Your plan and subscription

Updated 27 June 2026 · 2 min read

This is where you manage what you pay LessonLoop — your plan, the card we charge it to, and your past invoices. It’s separate from the money your families pay you.

Don't mix these up Billing & subscription (in Settings) is your own LessonLoop plan. Billing & Finance (in the sidebar) is the invoices you send to families. Two different things, two different places.

Where it lives

Your subscription lives under Settings → Billing & subscription. The three sections that handle your own plan are:

The plans

LessonLoop has three flat-rate plans — you pay one price for your whole studio, with no per-teacher charges:

  • Solo — £15/month. For a single teacher running their own lessons.
  • School — £39/month. Adds teachers and locations for a studio or academy.
  • Agency — £119/month. Adds the cross-studio Agency rollup.

Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, so you can set everything up before you pay a penny.

Change your plan

  1. Open Settings, then choose Billing & subscription.
  2. Under Current plan, select the plan you’d like to move to.
  3. Confirm the change. Upgrades take effect straight away; any difference is handled on your next invoice.

If you move down a plan (say School to Solo), features tied to the higher plan — such as multiple teachers — simply stop being available. Nothing in your data is deleted.

Update your payment card

Under Payment method, select Update card and enter the new details. The next subscription charge uses the new card. Your card details are held securely by our payment provider — LessonLoop never stores the full number.

Find a past invoice

Under Billing history you’ll see every LessonLoop charge, with a download link for each one — handy for your own bookkeeping or to claim as a business expense.

Good to know Changing your subscription plan here has no effect on your families' invoices, your card-payment connection, or your payouts. Those are managed separately under Billing & Finance and Settings → Integrations.
