Your availability is the answer to “when could this lesson go?” — and LessonLoop asks it constantly. Set it once and open slots, the public booking page and every clash warning start telling the truth.
Where it lives
Settings → Profile → “Teaching availability”.
It’s in Profile rather than Organisation because it’s yours: your weekly hours, your time off. Owners and admins open Settings from the sidebar; teachers open it from the avatar menu → Profile.
Only for people who teach The pane appears for users who actually teach — including a studio owner teaching alone. Someone doing the books won't see it, because there is nothing for it to describe.
Set your weekly hours
Set the hours you’re available to teach on each day of the week. Leave a day blank and it’s not a teaching day — a Sunday with no hours simply never offers a slot.
Keep these honest rather than optimistic. Availability isn’t a promise to fill every hour; it’s the boundary inside which lessons are allowed to land.
Add time off
Time off is the exception layer: a week away, a course, an afternoon at the dentist. Add the dates and the hours stop applying for that period, without you having to edit your weekly pattern and remember to put it back.

Who edits whose
Everyone sets their own hours and time off here — that includes a solo owner, who has nobody else to do it for them.
In a studio with a team, owners and admins can also manage anyone’s availability from People → Teachers, which is the practical way to block out a teacher’s holiday when they’ve told you in a corridor rather than in the app.
Availability is not a timetable Marking Tuesday 4–7pm available doesn't book anything. It tells LessonLoop those hours are fair game — the lessons still go on the Calendar in the usual way.
