“What was she working on before Christmas?” is a question worth answering in two seconds. The repertoire library holds the pieces your studio teaches, and each student carries their own list of what they’re playing right now.
Where it lives
Teaching → Repertoire in the left sidebar.
Add a piece to the library
Give a piece a Title, plus — all optional — a Composer, a Grade (or No grade), an Instrument (or Any instrument) and Notes. Building the library once means the same piece can go to twenty students without retyping it.
Assign a piece to a student
Assigning happens from the student’s own page, not from the library — open the student, find their Repertoire section and choose Assign a piece. Pick the Piece from your library, or type a new Title and Composer on the spot if it isn’t there yet.
Follow the journey
Each assigned piece moves through four states:
- Assigned
- In progress
- Polished
- Performed
Performed is the end of the road for that piece — and the nicest one to tick.
What families see
Pieces a student is working on appear in the parent portal under practice, so a family logging practice can see what they’re meant to be practising rather than guessing — see log practice and track progress.
