Your personal account settings — separate from your studio’s settings — control how you sign in, keep your account secure, and what LessonLoop looks like for you. Anything here affects only you, not the rest of your team.
Where it lives
Everything in this guide is under Settings → Profile.
| What you want to change | Where |
|---|---|
| Your name | Settings → Profile |
| The email you sign in with | Settings → Profile |
| Your password | Settings → Profile |
| Two-factor authentication (MFA) | Settings → Profile |
| Signed-in devices | Settings → Profile |
| Your time zone | Settings → Profile |
| Appearance (light or dark) | Settings → Profile |
| Which emails you receive | Settings → Profile |
Update your name, email or password
- Open Settings from the left sidebar, then choose Profile.
- Edit your name or sign-in email, and save.
- To change your password, choose the password option, enter your current one, then your new one.
Good to know Your sign-in email is how you log in and where security emails go. If you change it, use an address you check — you may be asked to confirm the new one.
Turn on two-factor authentication
Two-factor (also called MFA) adds a second step at sign-in, so a password alone isn’t enough to get into your account. It’s the single best thing you can do to keep your studio’s data safe.
- In Settings → Profile, find Two-factor authentication.
- Follow the prompts to link an authenticator app on your phone.
- Keep your recovery details somewhere safe in case you lose the device.
Review your signed-in devices
Settings → Profile lists the devices currently signed in to your account. If you spot one you don’t recognise — or you’ve signed in on a shared or borrowed computer — you can sign out everywhere to end every session at once. You’ll simply log in again next time.
Set your time zone and theme
- Time zone keeps your calendar, lessons and reminders showing the right local times. Set it under Settings → Profile.
- Appearance lets you choose a light or dark theme for the app — pick whichever you prefer.
Choose which emails you receive
Your personal notification preferences live in Settings → Profile too. Use them to decide which updates land in your inbox — such as your Morning Brief and LoopAssist insights — without affecting what your colleagues receive.
