A parent portal is not described anywhere on their site as of 4 September 2026. LessonLoop gives every family one login for this term’s schedule, every invoice, their Direct Debit, messages and practice — at your own web address rather than ours.

If your admin is invoicing and rescheduling for one teacher, theirs is free and ours is £15 — that is the honest shape of it. The £15 buys the things their site does not describe: Bacs Direct Debit with autopay and payment plans, automatic late fees, a family account per household that reconciles, registers marked on a native iPhone app that feed invoicing and payroll from one record, make-up credits by your own policy, a parent portal on your own domain, thirteen reports, one-way Xero sync, and LoopAssist. And a £39 School tier the day you take on a second teacher.
Does MusicNotes PMI have a parent portal or Direct Debit?
Neither is described anywhere on their site as of 4 September 2026 — what their site describes is invoicing, automatic payment reminders, drag-and-drop rescheduling with parent notification, UK term dates and a Self Assessment income summary. LessonLoop collects Bacs Direct Debit through your own Stripe account, with the family setting the mandate up themselves in the portal, and invoices and instalments collected as they fall due. If this has changed on their side, tell us and we will correct the page.
What happens to my price in January 2027?
That is a question for them, and their own page answers part of it: the standard Solo price becomes £12 a month, and founding members — the first ten teachers — keep £6 a month permanently. LessonLoop’s prices are £15 Solo and £39 School, published on the pricing page in full, monthly and annual, with no launch rate that expires.
Can I move my data from one to the other?
Yes in both directions. Their site says your data is yours and exportable any time; ours says the same, with a full export and no exit fee. Which one suits a school with more than one teacher?
LessonLoop, because a multi-teacher plan is not described on their site. The £39 School plan carries unlimited teacher accounts, unlimited pupils, unlimited locations and rooms, teacher pay rates per lesson, hourly or by percentage, payroll counted from lessons actually taught, and four staff roles with a scoped view. The price is the same at three teachers or thirty.
