LessonLoop VS Opus1
Opus1 publishes one price — from $98 a month, with Starter capped at 200 active students — and routes the rest to a demo. LessonLoop publishes both of its prices, £15 and £39 a month, with no cap on pupils or teachers. The comparison is below, dated and sourced.
A US enterprise platform vs a UK music-school tool.
Opus1’s cheapest tier is $98/month (≈£76), capped at 200 students. LessonLoop starts at £15, and School — unlimited teachers — is a flat £39 (≈$50).
Opus1’s AI lives in “Opus1 Voice”, an $89/mo phone add-on that is explicitly unavailable to UK customers. LoopAssist is in every LessonLoop plan, working in the product itself.
Opus1 bills in USD with no published VAT handling; UK SMS “requires consultation”. LessonLoop is GBP-native with VAT-aware invoicing and UK term dates out of the box.
Opus1’s own site describes tiers up to 1,000 active students, Apple Pay checkout, and SMS and Voice add-ons. LessonLoop has no SMS channel and no voice product. Its published plans do not cap active students at all, and both of its prices are on the page rather than behind a demo.
